Piece In Your Chess
Piece In Your Chess
Like the piece in your chess.
I submitted to you.
Thinking you were the king,
I pledged my loyalty to you.
You were my king,
Holding my reins.
You said to give up,
And I happily gave you my being.
But it wasn't enough,
I had to be part of
Some of your twisted games.
As the chess pieces, I was,
I continued this game.
I never knew the extent of your insanity,
You wanted it all even
When it came at the cost of treachery
You made me slay,
All the pieces that got in your way.
I happily obliged
Thinking it was my task,
Putting everything in your way,
Burning it in my wrath.
But I was just one of the pieces,
You had so many more
Clamoring to your words
You have ensnared so many more.
It was as if I was not special anymore,
I wasn't your queen,
I was the pawn you used
When you fought the king on the other door.
Enraged, I breathed out hate,
I wasn't your queen
But I could easily be your King.
Do you know, I could play
My version of this twisted game.
Now you play against me,
Your own made enemy.
Let the pieces fell down the board of chess.
Let the mind games, insanity and infamy play.
Let's see who wins this round,
Neither of us is back or white.
We are going to play,
The different color of insanity and might.
