The Phoenix

Smoke erupts from its ugly remains,

As the phoenix combusts into a pile of ash,

It surrendered and gave up its reigns.

It was beaten and broken; it was gone in a flash.

 

Its life is over now, or so it seems.

However, minutes later it revives and soars in the sky.

Its fiery body just as beautiful, it beams

Like the sun burning through the night sky.

 

So why can’t you stand up from your ashes,

Learn from your mistakes and return from humiliation.

Everyone deserves second chances.

So, resurrect from your ruins in salvation.
