The White Rose

Shunned away to silence,

For the mistakes she did endow.

Lost her essence of purity,

But doesn't every white rose have a black shadow?

A little morbid creature,

Grazing peacefully in the meadow.

But every soul stayed away,

Forgetting that every white rose has a black shadow.

When will we accept our fellow beings,

And not let our individual cultures overshadow?

When will we accept the fact,

That every white rose has a black shadow.
