A Summer Day
A Summer Day
Out of the room, I am dazed
As it is hot in the dawn,
There are blasts of hot wind
Ah! I am inside of an oven.
One instinct compelled me
to go back soon home,
The power-cut also dashed to ground,
unbearable minutes and minutes.
Going to a village pond or canal,
passing along a bushy aside,
Taking off clothes and jumping into,
would give relief immense.
Birds and animals pant highly,
in the trees,homes and outside,
Mercury touches when forty-five,
repulses to stay at home.
Dazzling hot rays make poor
idle under shady trees,
Try to feel peaceful as blessings
it would make you tension free.
