Cricket is just a game

India just another nation playing it,

And there are few who watch the game,

Them we call cricket fans.

Cricket is not just a game

India, not just another nation playing it,

The number of people watching is 1.5 billion,

Them we call Indian cricket fans.

We have many religions, many Gods

Many Languages and even more traditions,

Many more communities, and such diversity,

To which the world is a fan.

We have only one religion, eleven Gods

Only one tradition- cricket, and

one community united who always stand,

Them we call cricket fans.

With bat and ball in hands,

As a symbol of pride, of the nation,

Always they stand.
