Too Close, Drifted Apart!

Too Close, Drifted Apart!

Arms around her wife while,

He hugged her, held her close and tight.

She says, "I feel suffocated."

He says, "I'm scared of you, leaving."

His love for her is in abundance.

But, it's a hindrance to her survival.

For him, being tied would strengthen

Their relation but,

He forgets about the ligature marks,

He unintentionally imprints!

With fear of strangulation,

Every tear of blood, of hurt, as if

Dying hopes from her eyes,

Are falling. She is tired of drifting apart,

Tired of silently screaming,

A hundred million times.

He was way too close,

He doused the flame, set her soul on fire

Yet, the darkness around her couldn't

Escape through - all of this drama.

He ends up making her claustrophobic and,

She's left all alone, she feels much sedated.

She feels lonely, even in his presence,

Begs him for some space that was missing.

Felt her love disperse,

She was out of love for him now.

She had then, disowned herself,

Although, none of the two -

Deserved that as 'distance' has a great

Impact, no matter too close or too far.
