Been behind life's camera lens

For over more than six decades

Good, bad, and ugly witnessed

Seen light and shadow plays

Like in Son-et-Lumieres


Some snapshots never faded

In many of life stages

Wondrous childhood lived uncaged

An education enviable

Sans all electronic gadgets


Some snapshots wish to erase

Shadows of loved one's deaths

That haunt even today 

Behind life's camera lens

Vision obscured with tears frozen


Life's a play of light and shadow, undeniably till the very end.
