A chill ran through my spine

As she walked down the aisle

How I wished god granted my wish

Just this one time

Her radiant smile,

Her gorgeous eyes

That everlasting fragrance

Could be spotted from a mile

For a second she stopped

And looked me in the eye

There stood a girl

Not afraid to soar high

Now she stood

In front of me

I wondered if

We could still become a we?

She said her vows

Just I like I played it in my head

I took her hand

And kissed her soul instead

I took a step back

And tried not to cry

A smile plastered on my face,

Time had really flown by
