In A Lonesome Mood

In a lonesome mood,

I find the inner me,

Realize the real me.

All that is fake that has gone,

All that is true that has grown,

The strength in me that is recognized

Mistakes are realized.

Wearing the wings of aspirations,

I start to cross miles,

With a thousand new hopes,

I jump the heights,

In my dreams,

I think of flying in the sky,

Being free like a bird,

I start to fly,

No more bondage of memories,

No taunting of bitter stories.

All that is true shines there,

All that is pure thrives there.

I am alone but in glee,

Amidst the crowd yet free,

Thoughts grow there like vines,

I get to nurture them and they shine.

In a lonesome mood,

I find the love in me,

Recollect the words in me,

I refresh the memories with me,

I Pause a bit, smile and shine,
