Life
Life
I signed the divorce half-heartedly,
And cried at the court's approval,
I Mercy killed that old sufferer,
And cried at his funeral,
I wrote a thousand poems about you,
And read ‘em a few thousand times and cried.
This is what life gives,
When expectations are out of reach,
I guess.
I shouted at the priest,
For clogging god’s ears
Now Look,he can't hear my desperate prayers..
I had always felt envious of the fate,
For how he wins all the challenges,
Filed against me.
I entered an operation theatre,
To cauterize my bleeds,
I felt numb, even before anesthetizing,
And felt the pain, even after anesthetizing
Little did I know,
That I’m bleeding from the curator of the scalpel himself.
