Drinking Is Injurious To Health

It starts when a friend asks you for just a sip,

With time it becomes a daily trip.

You start arguing with your wife,

Now it’s taking a toll on your family life.

You become addicted, you become its slave,

Quit it if you are brave.

With time you start beating your child,

You may behave like an animal wild.

As time passes it may not be too long,

When you can’t differentiate between right and wrong.

It takes your peace, it takes your wealth,

And as we all know drinking is also injurious to health.
