Paper Boat
Paper Boat
What cherish-able were the times,
When assets were less
But life glittering shine.
Innocence wrapped us around
Love and cheerful we sound
Technology was far away,
Together for hours we would play.
Rainy day would make boats
Sailing around on cheerful notes.
And happiness in loads.
Society was more a family
Giving each one useful remedy
Together in all sort of tragedy.
Now the doors are always lock
Neighbors barely indulge in talk
In same corridor strangers walk.
Money has got many comforts
But has taken away the words.
Sometimes I wonder if its a curse.
Wish my kids could live up
What I had while growing up
But this will not work.
