Silent Scream

He lived a modest life, just others.

Lovely family, and well-paid job,

but slowly, his life took a turn.

He enjoyed it initially.

Frequently, he started neglecting his friends and family.

Once, he was the favorite person in the sports community, but his passion faded with time.

He started losing his health, his mind, and his productivity and became prone to negative vibes as prey,

without recognizing his predator.

As others were enjoying life, he lived in his world.

He expressed the words that are not meant to be said.

He hurt the spirit who was not meant to get abused.

He spread the message, in a platform not meant to get spread.

No one knew, he was under its influence, and no one cared about him.

He lost his personal life as the addiction directed him.

Finally, the day came where the lord awarded him for his sins.

He broke, he believed handwork never fails, 

he was a teetotaller but a workaholic.

Handwork never fails, it just doesn’t get recognized, when you work for people who pretend to be unaware.

One need not be always a ‘Yes’ man.

At times do say ‘No’ when the deadlines are irrelevant.

We are working for a livelihood.

A life without a balance ends up in chaos.
