On Tea
On Tea
I inhale it
As if it were the morning sun;
Letting each of it’s steamy rays
Flow in through the tiny pores
Of my desperate nostrils.
Letting its fragrance hit
Every core of my senses,
I allow it seduce my taste buds,
And call my tongue
To itself.
I let all it’s aroma
Travel up in the direction of my brain
And cleanse all the unwanted,
Unwelcomed and lamentable dust inside there.
I suck every drop of its essence
Like it were the only fluid
Adding life to my survival.
I devour its entire existence
By sipping it, drop by drop,
Letting each warm dew,
Smoothly drive in
All my veins
And calm all of me,
For once!
