On Words And Thorns
On Words And Thorns
Of pages,
Unturned,
And of roses,
Burnt,
Let me write,
A fairytale,
Talking,
Of how,
Pages die,
Yet,
Roses keep them alive,
Of how roses wilt,
And words offer,
Them power.
Let me write,
A song,
Of meeting,
That involves,
Love,
And poetry,
Both together,
Under one frame,
Making it,
A moment,
Of unveiled,
Uncertain,
Unbiased,
And unaccustomed,
Beauty.
Let me write,
Of how,
It makes,
The pages,
Bleed,
When thorns,
Offer them,
A tiny sting,
And how,
Roses burn,
When words,
Allow them,
A little flame.
Let me write,
Of our love.
Of your roses,
Kissing,
My pages,
And,
Of my words
Crippling,
Your thorns.
