Seize The Moment
Seize The Moment
"Row row row your boat
Gently down the stream"
Ensure the oars never
Shatter your sweet dreams
Ensure to avoid the whirlpools
Which suck you beneath
Allow your pen to flow
Create ripples of poetry
Not all will be appreciated
Not all can perceive it's beauty
"Rock-a-bye baby on the treetop
When the wind blows the cradle will rock"
Sometimes the wind blows
In your favor, words flow non-stop
Sometimes get stuck with writer's block
Fear not, for that too will pass
Light will stream in from the blinds
Of the bamboo screen slats
Magic will happen as you get along
Weaving a pattern-breaking norms
Artists are a breed by themselves
With their ebb and tide of thoughts
Seize the moment when the tide rushes in
Put ink to paper to scribble
Pick up the brushes paint a scene
And even if it remains incomplete
As ebb moments are sure to creep in
Winds will soon change directions
Words sleeping in the cradle
Will wake up; magic ink will scribble
