The Bicycle

I pass by various roads,
Some were smooth,
Some were rocky and
Some were swampy.
I carry the pressure and battle the friction,
While comforting others.
I do get hurt in my journey and often get operated.
I may reach the destination a tad late,
but my destiny depends on the character within me,
not with whom I come in contact.
The poem signifies about self-acceptance in life by ignoring the external world.
