We Are Blessed Not Cursed

Mama papa very near,

Very dear to my brother.

Mama papa very farther

Not so close to me either.

Papa cares my brother,

As he's everything.

Mama doesn't care for me,

As if to them I am nothing.

My mom hugs and kisses,

My bro in her sweet lap.

But when do I ask my possession,

She scolds me and gives slap.

Papa encourages my brother,

Though he does faulty deed.

Mama gives extra burden,

Though I wants her need.

I don't understand why,

Mama and Papa dislike me.

My bro enjoys each and every,

I don't get the same.

Why everyone in this laity,

Di-relish the girl child.

They debar our rights like,

We are cursed in the guild.
