My Country...My Pride
My Country...My Pride
Dressed in olive green, blue and white
A mediocre becomes a soldier with a direst insight.
Crying the victory song with guns and tanks as armor
Pledges to finish the one who harm her (mother nation)
Not a single moment of rest nor the sleep soaring the eyes
I am a soldier, he says, taking pride in his duties with a head rise
Leaving behind his beloved and the sobbing mother who bore him in the womb
He walks away to serve the nation, to shed every drop of blood.
Mother, my only mother, he cries for the land he belongs
I wont leave you defeated, he sings the national song
Dear soldier, you are the actual hero of the nation
We wont forget the sacrifices you gave, to make feel relieved
You rested in tomb and made us rest peacefully in sleep
For the next morning sunrise
Not bothering enough, you may not see the world after the war takes your life..
The destiny you come with is so different from the rest
Even death cannot fade the duty you held, and that made you the best
Wrapped in tricolor with gunshots in the air, this is way to bid you adieu
Soldier! O my dear soldier, I salute you
