Pride Of My Nation

Dressed in olive green, blue and white

A mediocre becomes a soldier with a direst insight

Crying the victory song with guns and tanks as armour

Pledges to finish the one who harm her (mother nation)

Not a single moment of rest nor the sleep soaring the eyes

I am a soldier, he says, taking pride in his duties with a head rise

Leaving behind his beloved and the sobbing mother who bore him in the womb

He walks away to serve the nation, to shed every drop of blood.
