If The Silent Colors Could Speak
If The Silent Colors Could Speak
If colors spoke,
Then I would paint the heart white,
For purifying the soul with goodness
And for making emotions win over power and pride.
If colors spoke,
I would paint the feet green,
For telling us to love nature
And reminding us to take care of its beauty.
If colors spoke,
I would paint the hands yellow,
For giving energy to all with its bright helping light
And for making their lives full of glow and mellow.
If colors spoke,
I would paint the head blue,
For controlling the mind’s depression
And helping it to cool.
If colors spoke,
I would paint the lips red,
For showing the world
That words running out of it
Can either teach everyone to love
Or just make them understand
How just a few of them can ignite heat and fire,
Break the age old bonds and turn anyone into a liar.
If colors spoke,
I would paint the body black,
For hiding all unbearable pains within by mere pieces of clothes,
For storing all the dark secrets
And the evils a person keeps to himself,
For hiding its sufferings and painful stories,
Yet bringing new fashions into life despite of all the agonies.
If colors spoke,
I would paint everything all day and night,
I would paint throughout my life!
