I’m Royal, But I Don’t Kill Anyone

The lion was walking

In the forest

Moving towards its den

All the animals started

Running helter-skelter

Fearing the lion

 

At the corner

In the forest

I was with my gun

Shooting at a deer

Deer saw me

And my gun

And Started running

Far and wide

To miss my aim

 

As the deer ran

Along into the bush

It fell on to the lion

The lion picked the deer up

And moved with its head high

And ensured that

The hunter runs away

And protected the deer.

 

The deer wondered

And asked the lion

Why it did not kill

The deer nor the hunter

Lion said, I’m royal

I’m not like human beings

Who kill themselves

For anything and everything

 

I’m royal

I am unlike human being

Be it in the forest

Or otherwise

But for the food

I don’t kill anyone
