Greenery
Greenery
Amidst the spring she stands absorbing the green.
Amidst the lush of grass, with brown and green in her eyes.
The mango tree loaded, or, rather, overloaded with bloom;
Sways thrilled by the gusty wild wind.
Every moment it blooms more and more.
Each day I see the blue-green bird;
And the fawn bird, its friend.
The blue-green is a little bird, yet so pretty
The peacock-blue hovers like a butterfly;
And sucks from the yellow and scarlet representatives of spring.
Amidst the green she stands with storm in the black cascade;
With storm in the huge old greens.
Amidst the rain she stands,
With hands thrown up, welcoming the shower
And amidst her stands the spring.
