My Lover

My Lover

My lover has got some faith.

She convinces God for deals,

She walks in seduction, talks with conviction.

What else would I ask for?

My lover is a fighter.

She stands by my side and fights for me.

Something magic in her, something tragic in her.

What else would I ask for?

My lover is a shelter,

She makes me feel home, when I am on streets,

She laughs at stupid things, makes me laugh too.

What else would I ask for?

My lover is sultry.

She lets me chase her every time.

No tantrums, no rolling eyes, no drama sighs.

What else would I ask for?

My lover is the best in world.

So do I believe, with all my heart.

They say she is a man.

Would that change any thing?

She giggles at my fears, she comforts me.

What else would I ask for?

They burnt her alive.

They told us, "You are sick."

Good God didn't create us this way.

And we should regret our love each day.

"We are not natural. We must pay."

She was born a man -- my woman.

I am born a man -- I am her man.

But did it change anything?

My lover was the most natural thing.

Me and her, we worshiped everyday.

Told only truths, never hurt a soul,

Just wanted each other to stay.

Nothing else I asked for.

I stand here alone.

Standing between the normal men,

No one tries to see my pain.

I will lie about my life.

Will tell everyone I am fine.

I was born sick. I don't belong here.

Call me to heaven Good Lord, but wait... you won't.

You don't love me, I did a sin. I got a cue.

They took her.

I still love her more than you.

I will lie about my life,

Will tell everyone I am fine.
