I Am A Teacher

The joy and fun of being a teacher, for now and forever, with love.

Hi there, I am known as the creator of this world,

But I take pride in being known as a Teacher.

I cant be anywhere and everywhere all the time,

So, here are the roles being played by me time and again.

Here comes the head of the family, the mother,

A teacher for life who risks her life on the edge of knife

Come rain, shine, or storm, you know

You can always rely on your mom.

I am coming to you my dear dad,

Your presence always makes me feel glad.

You are and will always be my superhero,

Thanks for making me a hero out of zero.

Here's the cutest creation of all,

Who's liked by one all.

Yes, its none other than the newborn

Who gets the treatment of a unicorn!!!

Ah! welcome my big brother,

Who always loves and protects his sister.

Sister is no less too! Yes, she's the savior,

She makes a fighter out of her brother.

Grandmother, who is called by infinite names,

Is one of the reason for me to reach the fame.

Grandfather, the more aloof, but definitely not a spoof,

The less known, but more toned and honed.

Cousins are like train engines,

Without whom, life's like a fish without fin.

Relatives are always supportive,

Some are sensitive, and few are sportive too.

Friends, there's no end, in and around you,

True friends are indeed quite a few.

Our helpers, from sweepers to doctors,

Drainage collectors to space scientists,

I am all there within the plants and trees,

Birds to animals, living to non-living,

You can feel my presence from known to unknown,

And enjoy the essence of love from being conditional to unconditional,

Search within and open your inner eyes

Your quest for godly thirst will suffice.
