I looked back to see you for the final time,

You had tears in your eyes; so did I.

The moon shined with that strange gleam,

a strange silence prevailed in between.

A time, where words felt short,

Maybe, you too regret that night.

 I Wish it had never come,

 I wish, I had turned back for a final time.

 I hoped that you'll stop me,

 I wish you said what you felt.

 As the moments flew by,

 the stars witnessed, some truths,

 and some deep emotions uncovered.
