It has been quite a Sharp and Traumatic fall

Thrown from the peak of Grace, Success, and Achievement

Into a great cesspool of dirt and filth

 

Life is like that

It takes you high and higher

And then strangely, out of nowhere

It throws you down mercilessly

To crash land with spitting blood all around

 

What is life about

Nobody knows, nobody will know

It has its way

Both to hell and heaven

You as commuter, do not have the

Navigation guide to get inkling of where you are headed.

 

Right now, licking the several numbered wounds of fall

Do not know if at all it will recover

Days come, days go

Looks it is here to stay for eternity

No light in sight
