He Took Her By Her Wrist
He Took Her By Her Wrist
Reverences etched in dark
who could see it..?
Stoic bodies harboring patience,
could never read it..
Sitting back on her haunches
knees with blue stain,
tip-toeing till the other shore,
slithering through the pain..
Not needing God, or a magic much..
All she ever needed, a speck of caring touch
A few stars in her night,
May be a sparkling Twilight..
A letter engraved in the sands,
tides rollin' in errands..
Alas! embellishes a shine,
She held the pearl in her hands..
Pitched a life flooding fight,
She is now a bewitching sight..
with her hand held so tight,
God! How she always shines so bright..?
That He took her by her wrist..
is the reason she could exist..
is the reason she could fly..
is the reason she could smile..
That He took her by her wrist!!
