Punched Scoreboard
Punched Scoreboard
Chasing girls was a pastime
Allowing entry only from the back yard
As neighbors always kept an eye
On the comings and goings
To report to his estranged wife
Not that she cared a hoot
She just wanted custody
Of her only child six years old
Had punched her many times
Cast aspersions on her character
The court had believed she was not fit
To be a good mother to her kid
Having suicidal tendencies had said
Was denied the right of visitation
Determined would throw darts
Punch holes in his alibi
She succeeded, at last, produced in court
Video recordings of his philandering
To prove to the jury he didn't deserve
To father a child with his womanizing
Facts added up; the jury convicted him
Had misfired away from the target
Her case watertight, got her child
Left him without a backward glance
