The Poor

Why is this so?

Some stranded in the wilderness and dark, 

Some in the most enchanted places one can ever dream of, 

It is instilled in our minds that we are made in God's own image and likeness, 

Then, why a slice between the well-heeled and the deprived? 

For they are one of God's masterpiece. 

Let's pull off this disparity, can't we? 

Everything sounds great in mere words, 

Even thou, the Almighty could not predict the pitfalls? 

The deprived shutting their eye in anguish, 

Every wake a nightmare and every dusk an uncertainty, 

Even the roar of the inanimate stones falling by the wind are a terror, 

Why is this so? 

Let's make a definition and a denouement for everything, 

No one should ever pay for why they are in this world... 

Caught by the treacherous claws of earth, 

It's high time we set them free to explore the fascinating things,

Even beyond the horizon.
