Always In My Heart

My heart sank beyond the deepest of oceans, when I heard your words

But you need to understand, I too lost my whole world

I know those coffee stains, can never be cleaned away

These memories, yes they hurt me too, but in truth, I want them to stay

So stop searching for that rubber, not even tip-x will suffice

As each and every memory, is firmly part of my life

Please don't erase me from your mind, as I could never forget you

You'll always be a massive part of my life, never doubt that this is true

Don't forget that I still love you, even though life made us part

As you will never lose your place, in the depths of my broken heart

Things happen for a reason, well, this is what that say

But not to dwell on reasons why, waiting for impossible answers doesn't pay

Just look at what we made, two miracles who make everything worthwhile

This if nothing else, is our reason to wake each morning with a smile

So nothing has been wasted, and nothing will be erased

Instead look at the good each day, and how our lives should be embraced

So can you understand, I need you to always be my friend

As even though are lives are different now, that does not make this the end
