I Pray for Thee

This day

The Day of yours

The Teachers Day

When I put my Pen

And go into

The memory lane

You stand there

Etched in my Mind

For without you

I would have been None

 

As the words flow

And the pen scribbles

Mind gets occupied

As I get Transfused

By a radiance of Joy

Every Year on this day

 

It is Thy Day

And I am what I am

For you made me

What I am

And many more like me

I salute Thee

On this occasion
