Midnight Thoughts

The clock struck twelve

Peace is what I delve.

There was pin-drop silence in the room

Even I can catch the sound of a fume.

But my mind was yelling as harsh as it could

Asking me all that betided was for good?

Analyzing all those fancy reminiscences we had

Coming back to the reality that is actually bad.

These negative thoughts were occupying my mind

Things have significantly being changed in kind.

That night I could not have a wink of sleep 

Thinking about you all I wanted to weep.

At last, the alarm snoozed at six 

Warning my midnight thoughts to get a fix.

Perceiving I had just spend one more night without you

But then tied up with chores that were piled in a queue.
