Mother
Mother
I wonder how loving love could be,
I haven't to go too far, to find out and see.
Selflessness and compassion always in her heart,
Her blessings and prayers never did part.
Whether I was good or whether I was mean,
Changes in her love, I have never seen.
Italian and Mediterranean may beat the rest,
But, when it comes to food, she is still the best.
They would cheat you, beat you and slap you in the face,
You could cry your heart out in her loving embrace.
You may get many a sister, friend or brother,
But you never can and never will get another, MOTHER.
