The Story Of Our Earth
The Story Of Our Earth
Backwards in time, years ago
The earth did live, but all alone
For her boastful nature, the gods wanted to destroy her ego
They brought in rains, fires and cyclones
The fire spread out on mud
And the thunder thunder struck thud!
The beauty screamed and pleaded,
Asked for pardon as she truly regretted
The god cursed her with spells
But suddenly came goddess Hestia, to her rescue,
And asked all not to rebel
Blessing mother earth with a tiara of greenery
She gave her beauty, glory and added wonderful magic
As she said "every beauty emerges out of a tragic"
She crossed her arms for the sun
And waved them for the rivers to run
The burning bowels now became heaven
New animals took birth now and then
All her pain and sorrow had vanished
With gods unhappy and astonished
The gods were jealous at the sight of the beauty
They called for an assembly for now it was Hestia's duty
She cursed "man as a new specie will descend"
"He will spoil your beauty and bring you to an end"
Bound by this curse
Which even time could not reverse
We came into existence
Probably that's why we exploit her with so much resilience
Left with those deep scars
She cried " I am sorry, I regret"
''Bare your cause for disobeying the stars" they said
Angry, she burst out "Hestia, your tale will be untold
Forever, no one will know
But you will also descend"
