2020! A Warning

I sat in my balcony gazing at stars,

To find out where the faulty are. 

Pandemic, tragedies, damage and destruction. 

Everywhere there is suffering and dejection. 

Is it our misfortune which brought us here

Is it true that our end is near. 

I saw the moon peeping through the clouds,

I asked him why he was laughing loud. 

He said there is no Fault in your Star.

It's your cruel ignorance which gave you scars. 

You sapiens owe a boon, now it's time for curse.

First you rebelled, now it's time for universe. 

Who are you to demolish or derange.

It's you in the eve of destruction for the nature it's just a change. 

It is warning not your destiny or fate

Mend your ways before its too late. 

I yelled, oh! the world great.

Somewhere with the deep sense of regret. 

I asked what's next, with a great despair

Do we all will die, and no one will be left here.

He answered., oh! My poor girl

Body dies the soul is immortal

Life matters the most, death is inevitable

Your present will tomorrow be history, make it reputable. 

It's high time to mend your relationship with nature. 

Pay all your debt and make tomorrow better. 

Today you are alive, tomorrow you may not be here

Nature will still rejuvenate, and world will get its successor.
