Flaws With Claws

Wondering when the star light will come,
While I am still awake and ready to burn.
Thinking of a paradox, unimaginable for some
As I lay with my open eyes and ready to learn.
Why there are these flaws, standing still
Why do they have claws, and are ready to kill.
 
Hearing the echo of these countless cries,
I imagine a cluster of these unimaginable skies.
There are some lights, a light to cherish
There are some nights, a night to perish.
Because these claws, they are relentless
When they touch you, you become senseless.
Why there are these flaws, standing still

That sickening realization that you are done with this fight,
The realization that you have lost all your bullets for guns,
Like a falling tear in your heart,
This feeling can kill you, it might
You regret like your life has been a joke, full of puns.
Why there are these flaws, standing still
Why do they have claws, and are ready to kill.
 
I don’t know very many things about life,
But I do know that, these flaws and these claws
They cannot question my every motive,
Because I know there are things at work which can help.
Someday I will scream, I will yell,
and I will leave out all of my mal.
