the dog's agony

nature’s most faithful animal chasing human,

the dog is now lonely,

we have separated him from his family, 

crushed its home,

he wanders around the bank of the river, crying, rheumy eyes saw half his reflection, quite distorted, half the river was furious, wailing for help, contamination killed its fishes,

fishes lost their home to eluents which burnt their family. 

the dog crossed the tree, its remaining leaves tracing the path to a construction site, half-cut tree sobs, still healing others, till it’s last to breathe it will help other’s breath,

selfless nature, selfish humans,

the dog thundered with rage, wondering if humans don’t acknowledge a problem till it affects them, no one takes air pollution as a problem till they can’t breathe,

the dog will try to chase humans, till they know the consequences of hurting someone who really cares for them..
