My India
My India
Whose martyrs inspire lad
And saints learn meditation
Her springs sing song
And ants draw union.
Whose wind teaches secularism
And sky free and Frank
The sea tells to be obliged
And generation thinks for rank.
Illiterates of it are doctors
And nature is the master
Labourers are the painter
To whom fear the disaster.
Whose dusts are like sandal
And water is the elixir
Its language binds relation
Faith never torture.
Its culture is its pedal
And civilization is the mentor
Discipline never harsh
Determination cries with cheer.
Duty is its religion
Justice is its power
Truth is the guide
Where pardon creates all dear.
Women of it are goddesses
Parents God's god
Hospitality is its nature
Whose love vanishes sad.
I"l never forget my India
it's service and affection
Her memory is my history
Tells glory as a quotation.
