Lights, Camera....Action

Lights, camera, action, planning for each shot.
Snow under the feet, green fields, its cold- it’s hot!
Rehearsals, retakes, hard work, over and over again
There goes the light, here comes the rain.

Swing the hip, slap that face, forget the pain
Spray your face, dab war paint, start again
Dangling from a wire, jumping over fire
Falling from a tree top and crying over a pyre.

Tears flowing- stop!  now laugh a little more
Much more punch needed here for sure
Change the angle, pan to the side, and cut the light,
Slightly wide, to the left now little to the right.

Hello, you out there, just get out of the frame
Hang on the cliff, now on the roof of the train
Make-up, costumes, fittings, and props
Make believe villages, houses, and shops.

Editing, post production, final cut, edit done
Now’s the time to find a place under the sun
Friday release, will it be a hit or flop
Bated breaths till the curtain drops
Back to the storyboard - once again!
