This blaze at noon sets all else at peace;
Alone and unwitnessed, the sky set ablaze!
The warmth of its passion is told by the breeze,
Yet seldom descried ‘til the end of our days.
Profound in its stillness and tranquil it rests.
In only this moment its greatest delights
Be just to be, and come to beget
A silence as silent as blackest of nights.
The roads are forsaken and so is the square
The remnants are sheltered by shadows of things
That built once with blood were condemned to be bare
Beneath them, their darkness to us comfort brings.
The breeze-now a gale- makes the branches to sway
And carries their dead far away from their eyes
A vacant street shimmering, but too far away-
For this as magic to be realized.
