Morass of Time

It was the time 

When each speck of the grime

Became lusterless without shine

Those withered leaves parted from the vine

Bade adieu with a happy heart to meet the divine

Out spoke the muddy wrinkles fine

Adorning the earthly canvas with a portrait sublime

This appealed to an artist , wielded his brush once a lifetime

A masterpiece that grabbed heart of a young in a huge line

Oh ! mine

Forward he came with a curious query that haunted his mind

'How could you draw such a wonderful limn?'

Quoted the renowned artist who turned to fame at nine

'It's the morass of time,

Which makes us seek the beauty even in dry lime.

Life isn't always a barren sign

It's a chance to create a melodious rhyme.'

Even dry lips cry out tears of dry pain

When you touch those hearts with love sane

Morass of time lets us make the life green

By spraying the shower of smile for every dry pine.
