Summer Again

Summer Again

Winter left us with her icy spell,

Summer came forward with his story to tell.

To thaw out all that snow,

Make the dew drops appear on the leaves down low.

Summers setting sun,

Brings the humid moon forgetting everything said and done.

It comes for months few,

Bringing with it bright dawns and flowers new.

The clouds high above tells the sun to hide,

It runs away always brightly shining on the side.

It brings in rain,

Calming the longing heart in vain.

We love the rain more,

Because of the sun-because it makes us hate him,

And love her more.

In the scorching heat a comfort strange,

From Seas to Mountains, Streams to valleys,

Covering every range.

Tiny birds search for winter wonderland,

Summer is like the reality in the time sands.

Shaking us from the wintry night,

Into the bright daylight.

The sunlight watches the waterfall go,

Into the ocean steady and slow.

Just like the changing colors of the days,

Summer comes in various ways.

Making the yellow-orange flowers bloom with pride,

By the Sunlit field's side.
