If Not On Earth

Look not at me with tears my love

Your tears are bound to dry up later

But that scar that I cannot remove

Would be there even after I move,

So I say ‘weep not now, that’ll be better!’

I treasure your words inside my heart

As I move on to achieve my goal

Feel my presence beside you, it won’t depart

But forever be with you,even if I part

Why then lament dear, I name you “my soul!”

After the fulfilment of my aim

I would come back forever for you

Worthless would be then my vain fame

When I would place myself under your name

’Cause it would be yours then, and my life too...

'Time alters Man’, as I hear them say,

Maybe true. But as I conquered the power of time

Time moves along with me, along my way

And though with a hope I long for that day

Treasuring a deep faith that someday you will be mine!!

And so, as the river moves to the sea

The path of my life would reside at your feet...

Overcoming all barriers, however strong they be

The destination of my life everybody would see

And if not on earth, in heaven we would meet!!
