Mother Of Mine

O mother of mine, you're so divine.

When you see me happy your eyes do shine.

You gave me place in your womb, you gave me your flesh and blood.

Your river of love was always so full and I drowned in its flood.

You bore all the pain in carrying and giving birth to me.

 

When I opened my eyes in this world I realised I was indebted to thee.

 

Your whole life revolved around me, my sorrows, and joys.

 

Your priorities were my tantrums, my needs, my clothes, my toys.

 

In bringing me up you forget yourself and I became everything for you. 

 

God made mothers because He could not be present every where- seemed so true.

 

Love you mom and cannot repay what you have done. 

 

Will try to do the same with my children with lots of joy and fun.
