Intangible Wagon
Intangible Wagon
There's clamorous music blazing in earphones,
There's a dark oozing emptiness in the bones
I see people waltzing on the sidewalk.
The sky is blatantly bland to gawk.
There's a surreal blur with the headlights,
I see I am gliding in heights.
Slowly past the red hazy traffic
Rain has made brooks and a nick
The lights flicker dim in this wagon
I am that girl with the tattoo of a dragon
The mind crawls to the places unknown,
The cacophony of words take a different tone.
It's fire in here which is feisty and frivolous.
There's so much noise around,
There's nothing much to be bound.
The moving vehicles tell me,
I can move forward and just be.
There's a feeling inside.
I want not more to hide.
I want to get up and fly.
Leave these roads and go high.
I see the clouds blazing colors and hue
That's red, orange, yellow, purple and blue.
I want to stretch across them and create,
Paint my own rainbow and end the wait.
It's time I get off this wagon,
Because I am a girl with the tattoo of a dragon.
