Early Mornings
Early Mornings
Chores of early morning are my favourite, a cup of tea with biscuit.
The back yard awake with butterflies and birdsongs. Two robins argue
in a mango tree. A jay searched the lemon, dances in the sprinkler. A
miniature rainbow stretches over the wet grass with early sunlight.
Fences covered in morning glories makes flutes for garden fairies,
secluding life. I make rounds, watering the plants, removing dead
roses, picking up fallen fruits. No cares, no worries, no house, kids,
job or life- a dream continues, nature’s attendant, guardian of the
gloomy garden. I sip my tea and eat my biscuit.
