Why do we repeat the same old deeds?

When we know nothing is gonna change.

Why do we hurt ourselves daily?

Trusting one and sidelining many.

Why only darkness is seen amidst the shining sunlight?

Why this pain seems beautiful indeed?

What, Why, Who are the repeated questions in mind,

But still, we know that one answer and that one same, unchanged choice.

We are the most far-sighted beings, I suppose,

But still, we act most wild and insane!

Why such a lack of ignorance we portray?

Why do we not act sane?

Where does go our thinking capabilities?

Why do we reduce ourselves to the stature of lowest beings?

Well, be practical and think what is right,

Let the world know 

You can shine,

Prosper and enlighten the sky!
