Mothers
Mothers
As a mother, there is no limit
To what must be done
Lending your ear,
We're in need of one
A doctor who would
Tend our wounds
Your voice to help us,
When we're out of tune
Your back for us to ride
Until we can stand.
Holding knowledge until
We can understand
Your arm's to hold and
Keep us all warm
Your body to shield
Us from every dark storm
A shoulder for which
We can always lean
Your bravery scaring
Away monsters we saw.
Your lips whispering
All your words of praise
Your legs walking us
Through our darkest days
Giving us your strength
When we're in need
Your encouragement
Pushing us to lead
You are our rock, our
Solid foundation
For you, we have a
Great admiration
Simply put mothers are
Greatest of all
And can make one feel.
