There was a King named Prakhar Veer. He was a ruthless king who only believed in killing people & conquering territories. He always discussed plans for capturing other kingdoms & making them his slaves. Prakhar Veer was actually a powerful king. Not only he had a trained army but he himself was a great fighter, a body builder & he knew all types of warfares. Nodody dared to attack his kingdom ever. Those who did, Prakhar Veer killed everyone in that Kingdom including common people. He was an absolute distructor, no feelings, no emotions, no mercy, just a killing machine, a ruthless king in front of whom everyone was helpless. And the money that he used to get after attacking people, he used 80% of that money is making his army strong & remaining 20% in other activities.

At a little distance from his kingdom, there lived a saint in his ashram. The ashram was spread in a wide area. It was a learning center where people from different places gathered to complete their higher studies. Courses related to Mathematics, Science, Economics, Medecin, Engineering, Philosophy, Culture, Commerce & many other subjects used to happen over there. Not only people of that place were knowledgeable but humble also. Caring for others, providing necessary goods to common people, bearing expenses of needy people of the village & many other divine things the saints of that ashram used to do. People prayed them as God. An atmosphere of peace & harmony was all around.

But along with that the ashram was financially rich as well. Extremely prosperous, the ashram was able to meet all its requirements on its own, without any help of the king. And this was the main cause of jealousy in the mind of Prakhar Veer. The owner of the ashram was Bandhu Naraina, a highly knowledgeable saint in many fields including Mathematics, Science, Ayurveda & Craft. He was always busy in learning new things & upgrading his knowledge in varied domains. Because of him, people in that ashram majorly focused on upgrading their knowledge & nothing else.

Prakhar Veer once sent his army commander to the ashram. Reaching at the ashram, the commander said, "Bandhu Naraina, our king likes your beautiful ashram. He has sent me to tell you to leave this ashram within 7 days otherwise on 8th day, all of you will be killed. After killing you all, our great king will construct one more beautiful palace for himself overhere." Listening to the soldier, Buddhi Narain said, "Oh great soldier, please tell your king to mend his ways & be kind & humble person. Tell him to be a good man & do something for the welfare of the people." Listening to Bandhu Narain, the soldier said, "So you won't follow my orders. Fine, just wait for my king to acquire your territory." Saying these words, the soldiers went away. For 7 days nothing happened. Bandhu Narain thought that king has understood the things & he has become a nice man.

But he was wrong. On 8th day, Prakhar Veer with his huge army moved towards the Ashram to destroy it. Bandhu Narain, was shocked looking at a huge army coming towards the ashram. As the army approached near, he smiled & shouted, "Students, protect this temple of learning." Listening to Bandhu Narain, one of the students opened a big iron door inside the Ashram. All the students moved inside the door & took many weapons from there & all of them together attacked the army of Prakhar Veer. Prakhar Veer was shocked to see that all the saints were Martial Art experts & one man was sufficient to kill his 10 soldiers. Within few minutes, the saints broke the bones of entire army of Prakhar Veer. Prakhar Veer was not expecting this. He was just watching the bones of all his soldiers gradually getting broken by the saints. Shockingly he looked at Bandhu Narain. Bandhu Narain, smiled & flying in the sky kicked on the face of Prakhar Veer. Prakhar Veer fell from his horse on the ground. Blood came out his nose. Bandhu Narain, stood in front of Prakhar Veer & said, "I had already warned you Prakhar Veer, don't you dare to roam around the boundaries of my Ashram. Now tell me, what is your last wish?"

Prakhar Veer was filled with fear. He fell on the feet of Bandhu Narain, & said, "Oh great Saint. Please forgive me. Please stop your students. They will kill my entire army. Please stop them." Bandhu Narain, ordered, "Students, that is enough. Leave them." All the students left the soldiers & came near Buddhi Narain folding their hands.

Bandhu Narain, looked at the king & said, "Only you are responsible for this destruction Prakhar Veer. You did nothing for your people. Instead of thinking about education, cultural activities, business & trade you wasted your entire wealth is war. In my knowledge, the people of your kingdom are least educated, their economic condition is severely bad, there are no health facilities in your kingdom, there are no toilets in the homes of most of the people & currently your kingdom is also facing food shortage.

You know why, because you wasted all your wealth in fighting with your neighbouring kingdoms. Instead of this, if you had tried to develop friendly relations with everyone & concentrated on well being of your people, you could have been a reputed ruler.

Many kings waste their entire life in fighting with other kingdoms & doing conspiracy against each other without realising that they are doing nothing for their own people. What we do, our followers do the same thing. If you focus on growth & education, your people will also become knowledgeable. But if you focus on war, one day your own people will become barbarians. Just think about it."

Prakhar Veer apologised in front of Bandhu Narain. Bandhu Narain, blessed him, "May God bring all the happiness in your life. Just be a good human being & care for everyone."

People think that war brings glory & pride. But in reality, war only beings destruction. Destruction of wealth, destruction of values, destruction of ethics & nothing else.
